I have visited a few sims that are no more than places where you get given notecards that contain urls. Some of those sims are geared to tourists... except that I find it is a shame to have extremely bland sims acting simply as repositories of websites. I prefer visiting places like the Opera Joven or San Diego, where the builders have tried to reconstruct or display some of the tourists' attractions of an area.
Snowshoe is a sim that can connect you to a website where you can buy real life art of an Argentinian artist named Molina Campos or at least get information on his life.
This sim displays over one hundred of his paintings in a museum-like setting, and to me this is a good publicity tool... The sim is pleasant enough and still under construction (I like the way the wall blends in with the sim itself, as shown below).
